Participants are advised to wear business casual for all congress functions and programs.
The currency used in Canada is the Canadian Dollar (CAD).

Please note: The ICOPA 2026 mobile app is accessible only to registered attendees. Login credentials will be sent to all delegates closer to the congress dates.

INVITED SPEAKER REGISTRATION DESK
The following attendees are kindly requested to visit the Invited Speaker Registration Desk to collect their badges: Keynote speakers, Plenary speakers, and Invited Symposia speakers. All other delegates, including proposal symposia and abstract presenters, are kindly requested to follow the prepaid registration procedures below. Thank you for your cooperation!
PREPAID REGISTRATION
- A confirmation letter with a barcode will be sent to all non-invited speaker participants about a week before the start of the congress.
- You can scan the barcode directly from your phone or print and scan it to collect your badge from the prepaid registration stations located in the Registration Area at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal.
- If you cannot locate your confirmation letter and barcode, do not worry, you will still be able to use the self-service machines by typing your full name into the machine. Hostesses will be in the Registration Area to assist you.
BADGES
Upon registration, you will receive your name badge. You are kindly requested to wear your badge during all ICOPA 2026 sessions and events.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPEAKERS & MODERATORS
All session speakers and oral abstract presenters are kindly requested to be seated in the front row before their session to ensure a smooth and timely transition between presentations.
Moderators are kindly advised to check the moderation guidelines below and strictly follow the program schedule. Session outlines will be available at the head table in each hall.

The Palais des Congrès de Montréal is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport, taxi, or car. It’s directly connected to the Place-d’Armes metro station and features nearby parking for those driving.
An official personalized letter of invitation will be provided to registered participants as part of the registration procedure. This invitation is prepared solely for the purpose of visa applications and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the Scientific Program. Invitation letters can be provided electronically (PDF) or as a hard copy if required. Hard copies will be mailed via regular post free of charge. In case of special delivery (courier) request, the participant will be responsible for all charges.
All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.
The organizer is not able to take any responsibility whatsoever for injury or damage involving persons and property during the Congress. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
